Adult Faith Formation

Wednesday Morning Bible Study.
In recent years, there has been a renewed interest in understanding the Bible.  As Catholics, we hear three readings from the Scripture at every Sunday Mass.  However, many of us do not have the background needed to really understand its meaning or what it has to do with our lives today.  

Every Wednesday morning from 9:45 to 11:30, adults gather in the Parish Activity Center to pray, reflect, and share the following Sunday Mass readings. Participants are given background that aids in understanding the meaning of the particular passage.  Other topics that relate to understanding the Scriptures are also presented as they may apply. Each time is self contained and one need not attend every week to benefit from the learning.  There is no fee.  Please bring your bible.

RCIA.

A thorough review of our Catholic faith is offered, covering topics such as:

• The Creed: what we believe, the Trinity, Jesus, the Bible
• The Church: then and now, Vatican II, Saints, Mary
• The Sacraments (in particular the Eucharist); the church year.
• Conscience formation and Sin; Social and Personal Morality
• Confirmation would take place according to individual needs.

Adult Faith Formation Sessions.
Come and learn with other parishioners.  Attend one or several of the adult classes.  There is no fee.  Check out the bulletin or our online calendar for more details.

ADULT FAITH FORMATION SERIES
Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary

A follow up adult faith formation series at St. Thomas Aquinas is coming in Lent 2024!  During Lent 2023, a 5-week series was held to explore The Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary.  That series utilized as a key resource a 7-video series produced by Paradisus Dei and 4PM Media in collaboration with the Ministry of the Wild Goose.  A 7-video series about The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary became available in September 2023 and will be a key resource for this 5-week series to be held on Wednesdays at 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in Room 202 of the Activities Building starting on February 21, 2024 and ending on March 20, 2024.  All are welcome!  Please mark your calendar to participate and consider inviting a friend to join you!
